Welcome to The Salty Axe! By accessing or using our website, booking a session, or visiting our venue, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all visitors, customers, and participants who access our website or use our services.

Age & Participation Requirements

Participants must be 16+ years or older to take part in axe throwing sessions.
Anyone under 18 years must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the waiver and supervise participation.
Enclosed footwear must be worn at all times for all participants.
All guests must follow the safety rules and instructions provided by our staff at all times. Failure to comply may result in removal from the venue without refund.

Bookings, Cancellations & Refunds

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
Full payment (or deposit, where applicable) is required at the time of booking.
Please refer to our booking T'&C's for refund requests and arrangements.
Cancellations within 48 hours of your booking time are non-refundable, as your lane and instructor are reserved exclusively for your group.
No-shows will be charged the full booking amount.
In the rare case The Salty Axe needs to cancel or reschedule your booking (e.g., due to weather, maintenance, or unforeseen events), you will be offered a full refund or an alternative session time.

Group Bookings & Private Events

Group bookings (7–14 people) and private functions may require a deposit to secure your spot.
Final numbers must be confirmed at least 48 hours prior to your booking.
All final payments for group bookings must be made 7 days out from your session.
Any changes or reductions in group size after this time may not be refundable.

Safety & Liability

Axe throwing is a physical activity that carries inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.

All participants must sign a waiver before taking part.
You agree to follow all rules, signage and instructions provided by our staff.
The Salty Axe is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage caused by failure to follow safety rules or staff directions.
You are responsible for any damage caused to our property, equipment, or venue through misuse or negligent behaviour.

Alcohol & Food Policy

The Salty Axe does not serve alcohol on-site.
Food and beverages can be ordered from our sister venue, Aquavue, located directly next door (see your friendly Salty Axe coaches for more information on ordering).
Alcohol may only be consumed after your axe throwing session and in designated licensed areas.
Participants found to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs prior to or during their session will be refused entry or participation without refund.
Our team reserves the right to deny participation to anyone deemed unsafe or unfit to throw.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Vouchers must be presented at the time of booking or redemption.

Website Use & Content

The Salty Axe website and all its content (images, text, logos, videos, etc.) are owned or licensed by us and protected by copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.
While we do our best to keep information accurate, we cannot guarantee that all website content is always up to date or error-free.

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Changes to These Terms

The Salty Axe reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will take effect immediately upon being posted on this page.
